    ArcPad 7.1.1 introduces enhanced Relational Database Support. Related tables based on the Microsoft SQL relational database has been improved with bug fixes and enhancements, including the support of global ID in the geodatabase.

    The RAV Geospatial Consortium has been awarded a significant Department of Defence contract (JP2106) to demonstrate rapid deployment of spatial data to the field.
    A range of GPS enabled mobile field devices, running ArcPad, provides users with the ability to capture geospatial data in the field for transmission to a Command Post or Headquarters, as well as receive updates from the Command Post. This enables users to make informed decisions using current up-to-date information out in the field.
